A more simple and quick painting this time withing a Circus theme.
I decided to play with the idea to make a vintage clown mixing elements of Pierrot. I thought it would be interesting to put some color on a few items to give a contrast to add to the drama withing the scene. I like this kind of work, the lighting in the picture always surprises me!
About 8 hours of production in total. Most of the time is on detailing as I usually block a clear figure in 2 or 3 hours.
Painting done in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Cintiq 21UX.
