Halloween 2011

Another thematic work to close this month! This time the proposal was to do something for Halloween. I choose to made a simple scene with some of the key elements of this holiday. Here in Brazil this day is known fas "Day of the Witches" so I could not help but to create a cute witch with a feel of a pinup.

I took the opportunity to test some things in lighting as usual as my work is mostly based on studying on how the light reacts. In this case, I had to fake the lighting a little bit. The ambiance light is supposed to be very dark,so I had to adapt a little bit to make the figure visible. I also realized that I just really like to use a rim light to give an extra effect, I just hope I don't get too much addicted to it! lol

But in the end I liked the result, it as I didnt took too much time to make it presentable.

Painting done in Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom Cintiq 12WX tablet.
