Death Knight Elysisby ~KimiSz

Here´s a full illustration of my character Elysis done as a final artwork for my painting class. Since the concept was already done (you can see it in my gallery) I only had to worry about the scene itself, so I wasted no time with design elements, although I changed one or other detail to become more functional within the scene.

A quick introduction, she is a kind of human vampire Death Knight wielding frost powers. Her armor and sword were built with the essence of many souls and the mystical scars are related to the her undead state. Basically it's what brought her back to life (my vampire does not necessarily need to get bitten lol).

In this project, after many roughs, I came to this conception of this scene where the character is in a freezing cliff kinda of scenario with some ghosts and stuff in the background to give a more "sinister" look in the illustration. The resolution of the work was a little high because I wanted to print on A3 and hang it in my room. But to post it here I had to decrease it a little bit. Still, you can see pretty much all the details.

I´am very pleased with the result! I think I managed to get on screen what I had in mind and still do a little better within I originated planned. Looking forward to more of this type of work!
