A illustration in a distinct visual language this time! I went back to one of the girls sketches I did last year I decided to work some more on it and develop the idea a bit more in form of graphic design added to realistic painting I'm used to. I find it interesting to explore different visual languages, after all I'm not even remotely close to considering myself a graphic designer. It can be a nice alternative for my pinups, we'll see in future artworks!
Painting done in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Cintiq 21UX.
Wow i watch women like this from the window of our small retail outlet and when i saw this i just thought that you have caught the essence of that in this piece of art thanx man
Hey thanks for the compliment! I'm glad you said that as my intention was pretty much like that you know? A random beauty that we tend to see in our everyday routine
Well PS and a Wacom tablet are just tools really. A improved Wacom may speed up the process but it doesn't make you draw any better, same goes for PS. I used CS3/CS4 for quite some time and CS5 for me is pretty much the same.
In the end it doesn't really matter which one you use, only your knowledge/skill/time you are putting into your artwork.
it's a really great work
